Privacy Policy

What we know about you, why we need it and how long we keep it. No legalese, but nothing left out.

We have not appointed a data protection officer – we are not legally required to. For anything concerning your data, contact us directly.

2. What data and why

Form for families interested in the childcare group

We process your email and your child's age so we can let you know once we open and start enrollment. The child's age helps us estimate interest by age group. Legal basis: consent. We keep the data until enrollment opens, for no longer than 2 years.

Contact form

We process your name, email and, if provided, phone number, child's age and the text of your message, so we can reply to you. Legal basis: consent. We keep the data for no longer than 2 years after our last communication.

Purchase of the e-book and workshop recording

We process your name, email, billing details and order details. We need them to deliver the content to you and issue a receipt. Legal basis: performance of a contract and, for accounting documents, compliance with a legal obligation. Under the Accounting Act, we must keep accounting documents for 10 years.

Your card number never reaches us – payments are handled by the payment gateway; all we see is that the order has been paid.

3. Who we share the data with

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We do, however, use services that process data on our behalf:

SimpleShop: orders, payments and invoicing
Ecomail: email communication and contact management (Czech Republic)
Resend: sending us a notification about a new inquiry
Vercel: website hosting (servers in the EU, Frankfurt region)
bunny.net: video delivery (Slovenia, EU)

Some providers are based outside the EU. In that case, the transfer relies on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, or on an adequacy decision.

We may also share data with our accounting firm and, to the extent necessary, to public authorities where the law requires us to.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use two measurement tools. The Meta Pixel by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. helps us understand whether our advertising works — for example, how many people filled in a form after seeing an ad. Ahrefs Analytics counts website visits — it works without cookies and stores nothing in your browser.

The Meta Pixel stores cookies and shares information about your visit and form submissions with Meta (never the contents of the form). Meta may transfer data to the USA under an adequacy decision (EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework). See Meta's privacy policy for details.
No other tracking or advertising scripts run on this website.
The SimpleShop order form and the bunny.net video player may store their own technical data needed for their operation (for example, where you left off in a video).

5. How long we keep the data

Childcare group inquiries: until enrollment opens, no longer than 2 years.
Contact inquiries: no longer than 2 years after the last communication.
Purchases: for the duration of access to the content and the statute of limitations; accounting documents for 10 years.
Once the period expires, we delete or anonymise the data.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access to your data and the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, as well as the right to object. Where we process data based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time – this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Just write to info@littlekidspisek.cz or use the contact form. We will respond within one month at the latest.

Note one exception: withdrawing consent does not apply to purchase data that we are legally required to keep for accounting purposes.

If you feel we are handling your data improperly, you can lodge a complaint with the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (the Czech Data Protection Authority), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7. We would, however, appreciate it if you contacted us first.

7. Security

The website runs exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the systems where the data is stored is limited to the people who genuinely need it.

8. Changes

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The current version is always available on this page.
